Supported living, in a home of your own.
We help adults with developmental disabilities live in their own homes and take part in their communities, with the support they choose.
What is supported living
Supported Living Services (SLS) help you live in your own home, rented or owned, alone or with housemates you choose. You stay in charge of your life. We bring the support.
Support can be a few hours a week or around the clock. It is planned around your goals, your routines and the people who matter to you, and it changes as you do.

Questions
Who is supported living for?
Adults (18 and older) with a developmental disability who are served by a California regional center and want to live in their own home, alone or with housemates, instead of a group home or facility.
Who pays for it?
Supported living services are usually paid for by your regional center, so there is usually no cost to you for our services. You pay your own rent, food and bills, often with help from SSI or other income.
Do I have to own my home?
No. Most people rent. The home is yours: your name is on the lease and you decide who lives there.
Can I choose my staff?
Yes. You help choose the people who support you, and you can ask for changes at any time.
I live with my family now. Can I still start?
Yes. Many people start supported living when they are ready to move out. We can help plan the move.
Can I switch to CAS from another provider?
Yes. Tell your service coordinator you would like to change to Community Anchor Services, or call us and we will explain the steps.
Let’s talk about what you want.
Questions are welcome, even if you are just starting to think about supported living.
